During the third quarter of 2021, the performance of the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Guatemala showcased varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Abra: Buy & Trade BTC & Crypto saw fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. The downloads peaked at approximately 1.9K in the week of July 5, with a notable increase again to 1.4K in the week of August 23. Active users, however, showed a downward trend from 4.4K in early July to 2.6K by the end of September.

Chivo Wallet, despite being a new entrant, experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads and active users. Downloads started at 332 in the first week of September, peaking at around 2.6K in the week of September 20. Active users also surged from 264 to nearly 6K within the same month.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a steady number of weekly downloads, averaging around 100 downloads per week. The app's weekly active users steadily increased from 1.9K in late June to approximately 2.4K by the end of September.
